Carpentry
I consider myself very lucky to have grown up working with my hands, taught by my father who learned from his father. Afternoons and weekends would find me bashing about in our garage, cobbling together all manner of things and getting covered in sawdust.
I was able to build on this through high school, where woodwork with technical drawing was on offer. Naturally I gravitated towards this subject, and as such got to learn a bunch more about carpentry, cabinet making, dove-tailing, fancy fangled tools and what constitutes a proper pencil.

This knowledge has stood me in good stead on a few occasions through my years of "blowing in the wind", during which I was able to make a fairly decent living out of applying the trade. Below you’ll find photos of some of the items that emerged from amongst the sawdust in those times.
